About IQON

IQON is a software company in Trondheim, Norway. We build compliance and workflow infrastructure for regulated firms, and we work closely enough with the people who use it that they know our names.

What we think this work is

Compliance is not a box-ticking exercise carried out by people who would rather be doing something else. In a regulated firm it is a professional judgement, made by someone whose name is attached to it, usually with incomplete information and always under time pressure.

Most of what makes that hard is not the judgement. It is the work around it — finding the information, chasing the documents, noticing the change, remembering the review, reconstructing the reasoning eighteen months later.

That is the part we build for.
